The Freeview approved DishTV aerialBox T1020 digital terrestrial receiver for Freeview|HD provides high definition 1080p output via HDMI and full MHEG-5 Freeview EPG.

The T1020 also provides component and A/V outputs for use in either domestic or commercial installations and easy tuning via fully automatic channel search. With MHEG-5 channel updates, new channels are added automatically.

With the latest firmware update you can now record via the EPG onto a USB HDD. We always recommend that you use an external power source on a USB PVR. If your USB HDD does not have an external power source, we recommend you purchase an adaptor lead and power supply (plug pack) from a computer store.

The high gain tuner provides great reception via a UHF aerial and with the expansion of the UHF Freeview|HD service, this receiver can be used in more areas for a true HD experience.

We are continually updating the software on a periodic basis with fixes for any reported issues and also adding new features. If you have experienced any fault please check the software version on your receiver and match with the version below. If it does not match, please update the box with the latest release as below, it would probably sort out issues you may be having.

Firmware Updating Instructions (19kb)

All new T1020 units shipped from now on will have the USB PVR firmware.

For PVR Functionality the USB hard drive will need to be formatted as FAT32. Most new external drives come pre-formatted as NTFS so will need to be reformatted as FAT32.

Formatting will wipe any files that are currently on the Drive so you should copy anything you want to keep off the drive before formatting.

Windows will not allow you for format any drive larger than 32GB as FAT32 so you will need to use a third party formatting utility such as Fat32Formatter to format the drive.
