DishTV S9040DVD-DVB-S2 Satellite Receiver with DVD Player, USB PVR and media player

DishTV brings you a DVD player combined with a free to air satellite receiver - and a USB PVR!

Yes the built in DVD player plays Zone 1, 2 & 4 DVDs, as well as MP3/VCD/CD/CD-R/CD-RW/DVD-R/MPEG2/MPEG4. It will play video files direct from a DVD, just burn the file directly onto the DVD and play on your TV.

As if all this wasn't enough, connect a USB HDD into the USB port and the pre-programmed free to air satellite receiver becomes a single tuner USB PVR. Simply book recordings from the 7 day EPG and have your program recorded while you are away. And the files can be transferred to your PC for permanent storage or burning to DVD.

Please note as this is a single tuner receiver, you can only record one channel at a time. We always recommend that you use an external power source on a USB PVR. If your USB HDD does not have an external power source, we recommend you purchase an adaptor lead and power supply (plug pack) from a computer store.

Plus the S9040DVD features a full USB media player. Drop a MP3/MPEG2/MPEG4 file onto a USB HDD, connect it to the S9040DVD and play your movie or song on your TV.

With both standard AV (composite) and component outputs and HDMI, you can be sure of getting a great picture on your TV.
