The Freeview approved DishTV satBox S7070r digital satellite receiver provides crystal clear pictures, an easy to use remote control and full MHEG-5 Freeview EPG.

The satBox provides component, A/V and RF outputs for use in either domestic or commercial installations and easy tuning via full blind scan channel search, including auto LNB search. With MHEG-5 channel updates, new channels are added automatically.

Why a digital HDMI output at 576i?

Simply because the Freeview satellite broadcast is in standard definition and current HDTVs with HDMI inputs have very good video up-scale chipsets built in.

The best way to benefit from your TV’s built in up-scaling chipset is to feed it digital audio and video via an HDMI port such as the one on the new satBox and let your HDTV upscale the crystal clear picture to fit it’s screen.

Please note this is a satellite receiver only and it requires a satellite dish.

Please follow the instructions provided with this installer not the instructions in your user manual.)

Drives larger than 500Gb will need to be externally powered.

For PVR Functionality the USB hard drive will need to be formatted as FAT32. Most new external drives come pre-formatted as NTFS so will need to be reformatted as FAT32.

Formatting will wipe any files that are currently on the Drive so you should copy anything you want to keep off the drive before formatting.

Windows will not allow you for format any drive larger than 32GB as FAT32 so you will need to use a third party formatting utility such as Fat32Formatter to format the drive.
